After further damage assessment of Wally's sno cone machine malfunction, Carey Schools ARE NOW CLOSED! Wally Wombat and the Roos strike again!

When Wally Wombat and the Roos roll into town, they bring a massive sno cone machine for Wally. Well, it went haywire last night and now look around. Massive cleanup needed. Carey Schools are on a Two Hour Delay today.

TLC hosted a basketball game today! We, meaning TLC, fell to the Wyandot County's Soecial Olympics' championship team the Red Barons! #chs #somuchfun

On the day before Thanksgiving break, the HS staff had a staff potluck, but also represented their favorite Thanksgiving foods with custom made t-shirts from our in-house Design and Production class. From the idea that Mr. Cole presented to the designs of student designers Mya Row and Maggie Ferrier and the production of Ms. Hord and Mr. Ruhe, the Staff Potluck shirts were "a hit!"; even amongst the students who frowned at the thought of oyster stuffing. Happy Thanksgiving!!

On Thursday, Mrs. Tyree's Chemistry classes celebrated "Mole Day" with decorated "moles" and food. Celebrated annually on October 23 from 6:02 a.m. to 6:02 p.m., Mole Day commemorates Avogadro's Number (6.02 x 10²³), which is a basic measuring unit in chemistry. Mole Day was created as a way to foster interest in chemistry. Schools throughout the United States and around the world celebrate Mole Day with various activities related to chemistry and/or moles (the measurement - not the animal).
