Meet Adrian Cooper!

Please join us in welcoming Adrian Cooper, our new K-8 School Counselor, to Carey Schools! Adrian joins us after spending the past 11 years as a fourth grade teacher at Riverdale Elementary, bringing a wealth of classroom experience and a passion for supporting students. In her new role, she is especially excited to provide group counseling and classroom guidance lessons, having seen firsthand how beneficial these opportunities can be for students.

Adrian wants our students and staff to know that she is approachable and a team player who is always ready to work together to support our school community. A fun fact about Adrian is that she traveled to South Korea for 10 days during her undergraduate studies to learn about their education system. She is also a huge Harry Potter fan, explaining that she struggled with reading until discovering the Harry Potter series—which helped spark a lifelong love of reading! When she's not at school, Adrian enjoys crafting, particularly scrapbooking and embroidery. This year, she is looking forward to meeting everyone and becoming part of the Blue Devil team.
