Carey Elementary School Needs Your Help!
Carey Elementary School would like to get the word out about a NEW plastic bottle cap and lid recycling collection. We are calling on all kids, parents, teachers, coaches, and community members to help!
We are collecting plastic drink bottle caps—think Gatorade, water bottle, and pop caps; as well as lids/tops from milk jugs, peanut butter jars, mayonnaise jars, etc.
We cannot accept metal, pumps, or fast food cup lids, any lid that is more than 8 inches in diameter, or items with food debris.
Please wash/rinse the lids and send them to school with a student or you can leave them in the collection box located in the school’s front entrance weekdays between 8am and 8pm.
